Heartburn Drugs Increase Risk of Hip Fractures

 

From : NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams June 1: A Kaiser Permanente study of nearly 170,000 patients found that those taking a single daily dose of acid-reducers like Zantac, Nexium, Prilosec and Prevacid raised their risk of hip fractures by up to 30 percent. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.
